Who we are

KF Valeting is a car valeting and detailing service run by Jamie Keogh, based at Tuckmill, Baltinglass, Co. Wicklow, W91 P6R3. We are responsible for any personal data you share with us. You can contact us on WhatsApp at 083 070 6079 or on Instagram at @kf.valeting.

What this website collects

This website has no forms, no accounts and no tracking cookies. It does not ask you for any personal details.

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like most hosts, Vercel processes basic technical data (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and keep the site secure. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies and without identifying you.

When you message us to book

The booking buttons open WhatsApp or Instagram, which are run by Meta. When you message us there, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, phone number or username, your car and your preferred date. We use these only to reply to you, arrange and carry out your booking, and handle deposits and vouchers.

Messages sent through WhatsApp or Instagram are also covered by Meta's own privacy policies. We do not sell or share your details with anyone else.

Legal basis and how long we keep it

We use your details because you asked us to provide a service (taking steps to enter into a contract). We keep booking messages only as long as needed to provide the service and keep basic business records, after which they are deleted.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to:

tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy
correct anything that is wrong
delete your data, where we no longer need it
stop or limit how we use it

To do any of these, send us a message. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission.
